Big emotions are not the problem

It's hard to teach a new skill when emotions are already high.

You may know exactly what you want your child to learn. Explaining it in the middle of a hard moment is another matter. EQ Ninjas gives kids a chance to practice first, while things are calm. The parent guide shows you what they're learning and how to follow up at home.

How EQ Ninjas works

Your child can work independently. You still know what they are learning.

Your child learns the skill in the app, practices it away from the screen, and then uses the same idea when it comes up in daily life.

Step 1

Learn it in the app

Your child completes a short lesson and activity. Most lessons take about 15 minutes.

Step 2

Practice it on paper

The printable kid workbook gives them another way to practice without staying on the screen.

Step 3

Follow up at home

The parent guide explains what they learned and shows you how to use the same idea when it comes up at home.

Inside your family plan

The app teaches each skill. You help your child use it at home.

Each module gives your child a skill to learn, practice, and revisit. You can see what they are learning without having to lead every lesson.

  • Short guided lessons in the app
  • Kid workbook for practice away from the screen
  • Parent guide with follow-up questions
  • Extra practice pages
  • Belts and badges that make progress visible

The goal is not a perfect response. It is helping your child notice what is happening and choose one useful next step.

Designed mainly for ages 6 to 12. Some younger or older children may be a good fit, too.

For homeschool families

Use EQ Ninjas as a full-year emotional skills curriculum.

Homeschool families can use the five-day sequence as a full-year curriculum. Other families can complete the same lessons before school, after school, or whenever they fit.

You do not need to prepare a lesson or teach from a script. Open the app, use the printable pages when they are useful, and check the parent guide when you want to follow up.

Why I built EQ Ninjas

โ€œI wanted to teach my kids the skills I had to learn as an adult.โ€

I created EQ Ninjas after realizing I did not know how to regulate my own emotions, let alone help my kids with theirs. I sometimes found myself blowing up when I did not want to. I had to learn the same skills I wanted my children to have. EQ Ninjas grew from that experience and became part of my doctoral research.

Questions parents ask

Questions parents ask before they start.

Wondering about something else? Send us your question.

What ages is EQ Ninjas designed for?

Most children between 6 and 12 will be a good fit. That is not a hard cutoff. You know your child best, and some younger or older children may benefit from the program too.

Will I need to lead every lesson?

Usually, no. Most children can complete the app lessons independently. The parent guide shows you what they are learning and gives you practical ways to follow up at home.

What does the family plan include?

One plan covers up to four children. Each child receives access to the app, along with printable kid workbooks, parent guides, and extra practice for every module.

What if I have more than four children?

Email us at hello@EQNinjas.Com for special pricing.

What devices do we need?

The EQ Ninjas app works on iPhone and Android. You will also need access to a printer if you want to use the companion workbooks and practice pages.

Why donโ€™t all the lessons unlock at once?

Emotional skills take practice. Lessons unlock in order so children have time to use each skill before moving on to the next one.

Can homeschool families use this as curriculum?

Yes. Five lessons each week, along with the printable materials, provide a full year of structured emotional skills learning. Families who do not homeschool can use the same program at home.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel before your next renewal. Payments already made for the current month or year are nonrefundable.
